For Alan David Custom, I helped create the overall creative vision and website design for a luxury bespoke tailoring brand built around craftsmanship, precision, heritage, and personal service. The goal was to create a digital experience that reflected the same level of detail and care found in their garments — refined, elegant, trustworthy, and highly personalized.
Alan David Custom specializes in true bespoke garments, with measurements taken by master tailors and pattern cutters rather than sales staff. Their process includes expert patternmaking, sample garments, fitting adjustments, and final garments cut specifically to the client’s body and preferences.
Challenges
Communicating the value of true bespoke tailoring. One of the biggest challenges was helping users understand the difference between a standard custom suit, made-to-measure clothing, and a true bespoke garment. Alan David Custom’s offering is highly detailed and personal, so the website needed to educate visitors while still feeling elevated and easy to navigate.
Translating craftsmanship into a digital experience. Bespoke tailoring is tactile by nature — fabric, fit, handwork, measurements, stitching, and personal consultation all matter. The challenge was designing a website that could communicate that physical quality through visuals, typography, content structure, and brand storytelling.
Solutions
Created a refined luxury brand experience. I helped shape a visual direction that felt premium, clean, and sophisticated. The design used strong imagery, elegant spacing, clear typography, and a polished layout system to mirror the quality and precision of a bespoke garment. The goal was for the website to feel tailored, not templated.
Showcased the bespoke process. The website experience highlighted the steps behind a truly custom garment — measurement, patternmaking, sample fittings, adjustments, and final construction. This helped educate users and communicate why the Alan David process is different from off-the-rack or basic made-to-measure clothing.
